RICHARD

There is a lot written about my father on the Web Site.  Of all my brothers, the one most like Dad is Rick.  Rick is like Dad in the bush:  He can tear through the woods, up hill and down, to get to a wounded deer or to get set up on the other side of a lake. Or he can move like a stalking cat, freeze motionless, jump and climb like one.  Rick has kept himself in top shape all his life.  He’s hunted deer for over 40 years, and still jogs his 3 miles daily.  He can stalk and kill deer up close, but he is also a generous hunter.  He can move a deer so it goes down to a new kid or a friend  who will then have the chance to experience the thrill of shooting. When the neophyte hunter is successful, Rick is just as excited as if he had shot.  I expect that, when I no longer run the hunt, Rick will be my replacement.
