My youngest brother, Guy, inherited all of Dad’s physical toughness and endurance. Unlike Dad, he could be cantankerous from time to time, and Dad would have to set him straight. By the time he was 13 or 14 years old, Guy was running 20,000 acres of bush. He hunted enthusiastically under the harshest of conditions—he loved the challenge, and became a really good woodsman. Guy would chase moose, deer, and rabbits with the same passion, and absolutely no give!! He has always fished, year-round, hiking to lakes where there was no other way in, sitting in ice fishing huts he built from 2 x 4s and plastic sheeting. The woods were his passion from the time he was a pup. He loves equally the windy mountains and the deep, dark swamps.
